it’s all about telling stories

After studying journalism, film, and theatre studies in Florence and Berlin, I worked for many years as a television journalist and author in Berlin, where I developed a deep understanding of narrative structure and compelling storytelling.

In 2000, I relocated to Antwerp, Belgium. During this transition to a new country and language, photography became my primary focus and a natural extension of my storytelling background.

As a people and documentary photographer, I capture authentic stories and character in both individual portraits and broader documentary work. My approach centers on discovering the underlying narratives that define each subject, while focusing on the essential elements that naturally reveal each story's authenticity.

I love being on the streets!
I experience urban environments as dynamic spaces where multiple narratives intersect and evolve continuously. My work in this area concentrates on documenting these layered urban stories, capturing moments where the complexity of city life reveals itself through careful observation and composition.
